About kylee

Kylee grew up in Plankinton, South Dakota, where her active involvement in sports sparked a lifelong passion for health and sports performance. A sports whiplash injury as led her to discover chiropractic care, where she experienced firsthand how powerful healing can be when the body is supported properly. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from South Dakota State University, where her studies emphasized nutrition, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning.

Following graduation, Kylee continued her education at Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she immersed herself in various clubs, organizations, and seminars to expand her knowledge in both chiropractic care and nutrition. She is currently on track to graduate with her Doctorate in Chiropractic this August and is completing her internship at The Wellness Way – Sarasota, where she plans to join the team full-time after graduation.

Kylee’s personal health journey has deeply influenced her professional passion. During a high school physical, a primary care doctor recommended she start a cholesterol-lowering medication simply due to family history. Trusting her intuition, she didn’t want a medication and sought a second opinion—and was relieved to discover the critical role cholesterol plays in healing, hormone production, digestion, and overall health. What her body was really dealing with was inflammation, not a medication deficiency. This experience deepened her belief in the importance of understanding the why behind symptoms and reinforced her commitment to helping others uncover the root causes of their health concerns.

Throughout her academic journey, Kylee also faced symptoms that are often brushed off as “normal” in today’s world—irregular and painful menstrual cycles, neck pain, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, and various sports injuries such as concussions, sprains and strains, and a meniscal tear. Through The Wellness Way’s unique approach and comprehensive lab testing, she was able to uncover the root causes of her symptoms and begin healing her body from the inside out—supporting her cycle, hormones, nervous system, immune system, gut, and more. These experiences solidified her belief that true healing happens when we look deeper and work with the body—not against it.

Outside of her work and continued training, you can often find Kylee at the Lakewood Ranch YogaSix studio, exploring local coffee or juice shops, browsing plant stores, walking her pups with her husband, or enjoying a day at the beach or a local outdoor event.

Kylee is passionate about helping patients take back control of their health by uncovering and addressing the underlying stressors that disrupt balance and cause pain. With a whole-body approach to wellness, she empowers individuals to reconnect with their body’s natural ability to heal—so they can live pain-free, energized, balanced lives. Her mission is to guide each patient on a personalized journey toward lasting health and vitality, not just temporary relief.
